I'm Dan

My name is Dan Tiemeyer. I live in Byron Center, MI with my wife and two sons. I have a passion for building and designing custom furniture. I started building for my own home and quickly realized I'd like to bring that same passion and share it with others. I started Hive Woodworking to bring my enjoyment of wooden furniture to others and give them something they can cherish.

My goal is simple. Bring back handmade, quality pieces of furniture that start conversations and last generations.

Just as in nature, a beehive is meticulously built with precision and purpose, I believe furniture should be the same. A home is your hive, and the pieces within it should be more than just functional objects; they should be the sturdy, beautiful foundations where your family gathers, works, and grows.
